Volunteers help the Damiano Center to meet the tremendous demand for services and ensure that our programs are effective, efficient, and sustainable.
We have the following opportunities available:

Community Kitchen

Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and clean up after meal service. Volunteers work in groups of up to five with a cook and dishwasher.

Pick up baked goods and other foods at Cub Foods (and other locations as needed) and deliver to the Damiano Center for use in meal programs.
Kids' Kitchen
-
Assist with the preparation and serving of meals.

Assist or lead activities with the kids and help with clean up.
Free Store
-
Assist in acceptance, sorting, and display of donated items.

Assist donors and shoppers with their needs.
Building
Assist in the cleaning and general upkeep of the building.

For safety reasons, volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Younger kids can participate in a few different ways. Please see our list of engagement opportunities for younger kids.
